Hockey Hats & Apparel

Hockey Clothing

The North American ice hockey market shows this. The sport has gained popularity across the globe in part due to the development of synthetic ice.

Goalie pants feature larger pelvic, thigh and hip pads to protect. Goalie jocks, referred to as jills, are characterized by less protection for the groin and more padding on the front of their cup.

Apparel

Hockey players must wear protective gear since the sport involves high-speed skating on hard surfaces. Players collide frequently and often deliberately. The standard safety gear used by the hockey player is ice skates, sticks, a helmet with a visor, chest protectors, shoulder pads gloves, elbow pads and heavy-padded shorts (also called jock athletic protectors for men and jockstraps, or "jills" for women) as well as a pelvic guard (also known as a girdle (or "jill" for females) and thigh pads, hip pads, tailbone pads and shin pads. A neck protector may be worn.

In recent years technology has been used to reduce the weight of the clothes and make them more practical. Numerous companies use carbon composites in stick shafts, and specialized foam to make shoulder pads lighter, without sacrificing protection. Other improvements include 3D scans to accurately calculate a player's body proportions to ensure that elbow pads, knee pads and shinpads are made to be sized for each player.

The market for hockey is predicted to expand over the next few years as more people are aware of the sport and since synthetic ice rinks are built around the world which will allow players to play in areas where natural ice isn't available. The number of female hockey players has also increased, which is good for the market.

Hats

A hat is a crucial piece of hockey gear and can be worn both on and off the hockey field. We offer a variety of caps that will please both males and females. We also carry a range of youth hats for younger players and fans that are suitable for practice or games. Hats are a crucial aspect of hockey culture. They can be seen in all leagues, including the famous ritual of throwing their hats on the ice after players score 3 goals in a match.

We have all the NHL apparel that you need to look professional both on and off the playing field.

Jerseys

Jerseys are the uniforms worn by hockey players. The jerseys are typically more robust and have longer sleeves than other jerseys for sports. The jerseys are emblazoned with a team logo on the front as well as the player's last name on the back, and the player's number from 0 to 99. Some jerseys bear a "C", "A", or "A" to signify the captain of the team and alternate captains.

There are two types of NHL jerseys, authentic and replica. Original jerseys have the exact design and are made from the same material. Replica jerseys could be made of different materials (usually cheaper) and might not have the exact design as authentic jerseys.

Most NHL teams have three or four sets of jerseys that are worn during games, and they also have a few unique sets of jerseys for things like heritage designs and charity events. Each jersey has an inside back loop of fabric known as a "fight strap" which must be secured to the player's pants to keep the jersey from being pulled over their heads during a game.

The Authentic Pro is the top-tier jersey offered by the NHL and is constructed from high-performance fabrics with multilayered tackle twill 3D embroidery and reinforced stitching. It is available in both women's and men's styles. The Authentic Premier is a lower-tier version of the Authentic Pro, and it is designed to mimic the look of the jerseys that players wear on the court.

Shirts

The jerseys, or sweaters, of a team are the most well-known attire. They display the team's primary logo on the front, and usually have a second logo on the shoulders. The number of the player's name is located below the player's name, which can vary from 0 to 100. Captains of the team wear an uppercase "C" above and to the right of their jersey's name, while two other players--designated as alternate captains wear an "A" on theirs.

The majority of NHL teams have an alternate jersey that is worn on special occasions, such as the Winter Classic and Stadium Series. Many teams also have an alternative that is retro or throwback for their home jerseys. These third-sweater options allow teams to experiment with new designs and can also serve as a base for the development of their primary jerseys.

The Vancouver Canucks have a beautiful sweater that blends traditional and modern style. The black and navy blue jerseys are striking, making them easy to spot on the ice. White stripes add contrast. The Canucks also have a fantastic font on their names and numbers which enhances the clean and crisp look of the jersey.
